招生流程和標準

The expectation of the school is that all our students will be technologically “savvy” and able to navigate our online programmes. Naturally, there is a learning curve in adopting our technology platforms and practices, but students should be confident and feel proficient navigating these independently.

Applicants must be ready to embrace CGA’s rigorous online learning environment. We are particularly seeking students who demonstrate academic initiative and show motivation to improve - regardless of their current ability and grade history. Students do not have to be top achievers for admission to CGA, however they must be able to keep with the pace of our accelerate classes - we make this evaluation on a case by case basis.

As well as being academically able, students should possess the maturity to study successfully in an online environment. As a general rule, students under the age of 12 will not be enrolled in our school except in exceptional circumstances, and at the discretion of the Principal.

Prospective students need to possess attributes needed to succeed in an online environment: self-motivation, self-management, independent study skills, effective and appropriate communication skills, willingness to participate, commitment, goal-oriented.

All applicants for positions at CGA will be required to take subject entrance tests in English, Mathematics and Science to assess their suitability for the programmes offered by the school.

All CGA students are expected to abide by the school’s values and possess a good behavioural record and the potential for leadership.
