I was actually returning home when I received the email about the decision. The internet connection wasn't great in that area, so I waited anxiously outside my door, not wanting to go inside until I saw the word "acceptance." When I finally saw the confirmation, I was overjoyed. Southampton has been a dream university for me, and I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to study aeronautics at such a renowned institution.

Henry’s Experience Studying International A-Levels At An Online Private School

Can you tell us a bit about your background and what you studied at CGA?

I'm originally from Shanghai, China, and I've had experience with both AP and IB programmes before coming to CGA. At CGA, I've been studying A-levels in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, and English Language. It's been a great fit for me, as the flexible pacing and specialised curriculum have allowed me to focus on the subjects I'm most passionate about.

My advice would be to focus on identifying what you truly want to pursue, rather than just chasing the highest-ranking schools. Additionally, I encourage students to explore their interests beyond the core curriculum during their international A-level studies, as this can provide valuable insights and strengthen their applications.
