In this blog post, we’ll discuss the various documents that CGA provides to its students upon graduation, including graduation certificates, transcripts, exam results, and predicted grades. We will also cover alternative means of proving graduation requirements for A-Level students, the contents of CGA's transcripts, and how the school supports student university applications through exam results and predicted grades.
Whether you are a prospective student or a current one, this post will give you a clear understanding of the documentation that you can expect to receive from CGA upon graduating from high school.
A-Levels do not have a graduation requirement, so traditional graduation certificates are not provided to A-Level students at Crimson Global Academy (CGA). Instead, students meet the graduation requirements by demonstrating that they have received three or more A-Levels. Most full-time students at CGA are taking more than three A-Levels, so this requirement is usually fulfilled. However, to support their university applications, a graduation certificate is provided to A-Level students as a tick-box exercise for admissions offices. It is essential to note that this certificate is not endorsed by the government.
You can view a sample of our non-government endorsed graduation certificate below.
CGA provides transcripts to its full-time students which consist of various details including:
For part-time students, it is their responsibility to ensure that their primary school integrates these transcripts into the appropriate submissions on their behalf. The internal grades for each course taken by the student will be included in the transcripts issued by CGA.
CGA provides official exam results from Pearson when needed for student submissions. Students can also access their exam results directly from Pearson.
To support student university applications, CGA provides predicted grades twice a year in September and November, before the regular and Oxbridge/US Early application deadlines. These grades are not official grades issued by Pearson Edexcel, but rather a projection of the most likely grade that the student will be awarded for their A-Level qualification. The predicted grades are determined based on various factors, including examination results, past performance, and internal assessments.
In summary, at CGA, our world-class teachers provide our students with the required documentation and assistance to help them achieve their university, scholarship, and career goals. This includes non-traditional graduation certificates, transcripts for full-time students, exam results, and predicted grades. Our priority is to provide our students with the necessary documentation and support to help them achieve their university, scholarship, and career aspirations.
