These outstanding university placements are a testament to our students’ resilience, ambition, and academic strength.

The most common subjects or majors graduating students have been accepted to study at university are:
Student Konoka, 18, from Massachusetts, studies AP subjects full-time with CGA and received an early acceptance from Wellesley College, with additional offers from UMass Boston, UMass Amherst, Northeastern, and Wheaton.
Her university choices were motivated by her unique academic interests and extracurricular activities:
The university needed to have departments that aligned with my interests. Most colleges have psychology, but I was specifically looking for schools that also had a music department because I want to minor in music.
Henry, 18 from Shanghai, was overjoyed to receive an offer to study Aeronautical Engineering at Russell Group university, The University of Southampton - his dream course. CGA’s flexible 1:1 Da Vinci programme and International A Level pathway empowered him to focus on subjects he was enthusiastic about.
Henry’s advice for students considering which universities to apply to is:
Focus on identifying what you truly want to pursue, rather than just chasing the highest-ranking universities. It's important to find a university that aligns with your passions and where you can engage with like-minded individuals.
Soyun, 17 from New York, studies ten AP courses at CGA, with a strong emphasis on STEM subjects. Her ambition has always been to study at NYU, a prestigious institution she’s been involved in throughout her education, researching and publishing papers with the academic staff there. Her dreams became a reality when she was accepted to study at NYU through Early Decision II.
Soyun credits her admissions success to the support of her teachers and the range of creative extracurriculars she participated in and recommends future graduates get involved with the community:
Join clubs, interact with teachers, and form good relationships with them because you’ll need recommendation letters.
At CGA, we’re committed to helping students unlock their full potential and gain admission to the universities that best match their ambitions, interests, and strengths.
